How the Jodi Family Is Made
Each digit has a "cut" digit that is 5 steps away: 0↔5, 1↔6, 2↔7, 3↔8 and 4↔9. To build the family of a jodi, swap each digit with its cut and also reverse the pair. For example, the family of 12 is 12, 17, 62, 67, 21, 26, 71 and 76. Jodis made of a digit and its own cut (like 16) form smaller families of four.
